About Us
Commitment, transparency, innovation. These three values have stood at the center of the Armstrong Foundation's mission since our founding in 2013. We wholeheartedly commit to the work we do with passion and dedication, transparently sharing it with the south Puget sound community and inviting others to take part. On top of this, we challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an innovative approach to all that we do. This mission drives the continued success of the Armstrong Foundation.

Our Programs

1
School‑Readiness Support Program
We provide new backpacks and shoes to local school districts to ensure children facing economic hardship are equipped to attend school confidently and prepared to learn. This support helps reduce barriers to attendance and promotes dignity, confidence, and academic engagement.
2
Youth Recreation & Outdoor Access Program
This program helps children participate in sports and outdoor recreational activities by covering fees, equipment, and supplies. By increasing access to healthy activities, the program builds confidence, teamwork, resilience, and positive youth development.
3
Seasonal & Holiday Support Program
We provide holiday support during Easter and Christmas for children experiencing housing instability or economic hardship. By ensuring children receive gifts and essentials, this program promotes inclusion, emotional well‑being, and a sense of belonging during important times of the year.
4
Youth Motorcycle Safety & Skills Program
The Youth Motorcycle Safety & Skills Program provides motorcycle support and training for youth and young adults ages 24 and under. The program offers access to motocross (MX) training opportunities and assistance with motorcycle endorsement preparation, emphasizing safety, responsibility, and skill development. By supporting supervised, structured training, the program helps young people build confidence, discipline, and practical life skills while encouraging safe riding practices and positive engagement in an activity they are passionate about.
